Lahore, Pakistan – In a major milestone for Pakistan’s technology retail landscape, Apple is poised to open its first-ever full-scale retail store in the country by the end of 2025.
The company launching the store is Air Link Communication Limited, a major mobile phone manufacturer/assembler and distributor in Pakistan, which revealed the plan during its latest corporate briefing held with Topline Securities.
According to the disclosure, the flagship store will be located inside Dolmen Mall Lahore, one of the city’s premier shopping complexes, and will operate alongside a retail outlet of Xiaomi.
What Does this Mean for Consumers?
The store will offer the entire Apple ecosystem: iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, Apple Watches and accessories; all through a formal, authorised retail channel.
Until now, Apple products in Pakistan have largely been available via authorised distributors or resellers, but not through a dedicated Apple-branded retail space. This launch signals the entrance of a full-fledged Apple retail experience locally.
Background and Strategic Context
In September 2024, GNEXT Technologies, Apple’s authorised distributor in Pakistan, appointed Air Link as its “premium partner” to expand structured retail coverage for Apple products.
According to Air Link, this move is part of a broader strategy to strengthen its retail footprint across Pakistan, improve authentic product availability and enhance customer access to premium brands.
What’s Still Unknown
While the announcement affirms the “by end of 2025” timeframe, a precise date for the store’s launch has not yet been published.
Also, details such as store size, in-store services (repairs, workshops, etc.), pricing strategy, and whether Apple’s full service ecosystem (such as Apple Care, Today at Apple sessions) will be included remain un-specified.
Local consumers and industry observers will be keen to see how taxes, import duties and warranty policies are treated in the context of an Apple-branded store in Pakistan.
Looking Ahead
As the year draws to a close, all eyes will be on Dolmen Mall Lahore to see when the Apple retail space officially opens its doors. With the announcement, Pakistani tech enthusiasts and Apple fans have a tangible milestone to look forward to after years of indirect access to the brand.
